What a joyous time it is to be expressing our love of this season!! For
some of you, the performance time is over - you have laid the bricks and
your ministry is ready to reap in the seeds that have been sewen from this
Christmas season! For the rest of you, there's still a week or so left in
your ministry-driven "productions" (remember, it's more than a show!!!). I
hope God has truly blessed your programs and that MidiLite has been able to
compliment your message that Jesus Christ is the true Messiah (only the best
gift ever!) and the reason we celebrate this time of year.

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Ed Thomas and I've work with
Jon and MidiLite since 1996 (my apologies for not being able to attend this
year's conference). I've had the honor of serving as lighting director for
both the Living Christmas Tree (now the Virginia Christmas Spectacular) at
Thomas Road Baptist Church and the Living Cross at Hyland Heights Baptist
Church, both in the Lynchburg, VA area. Furthermore, I have used MidiLite's
DMX products (such as the LanBox) in my lighting designs at multiple venues
since their introduction in the late 1990s. Now I'm happy to say that for
the second year, I have brought the MidiLite experience to my own home.
After upgrading from a 1x1x6 to a 1x3x6 matrix this year, Jon has asked me
to share my tree with all of my fellow MidiLite users.

My home Christmas tree is 6.5 feet tall, is decorated with over 75 silver
balls, and is lit by 1500 lights that came directly from the old TRBC tree
(before the move to Liberty Mountain!). I have a 1x3x6 matrix, which means
that my tree is divided into three "rows" which are approx 23" in height
(I've had to fudge some of it). Below you will find a link to my personal
website which includes videos that I took last weekend of my tree. I
apologize for the darkness and low quality of the video, but my camera is
old.

May God truly bless your ministries, you, and your homes this Christmas
season!
